Members of Lancashire CRN are invited to join SAMS in Blackburn for a tour of their new premises, to hear more about them and how they have developed, and ask for their expert advice on any ideas you may have.
“SAMS is an Aladdin’s Cave of goodies. At SAMS surplus objects are collected, displayed and offered in a sort of emporium or ‘warehouse of wonders’. SAMS brings together public and private organisations with a common aim of raising recycling and environmental awareness and actively encourages recycling within the local business community. With the assistance and support of our dedicated team of volunteers our not for profit social enterprise is a thriving hub of activity.”
The visit will take place on 16th September at 10am and finish around 1pm. Lancashire CRN will fund your return travel and provide a buffet lunch for members, as a benefit of your membership. Booking is essential and places are limited to two people per organisation. Details on claiming for your travel expenses will be provided once you have booked, or on request.
Places are limited to two people per organisation so please book using the electronic form below, or contact Dawn Welham on 01772 642 885 with any questions.
Address for site visit: SAMS @ Energy Zone, Newfield Drive, Blackburn, BB2 3UA
