Community Solutions provides support on all aspects of enterprise development for existing and emerging community-based sustainable waste management within Lancashire.
Groups and organisations operating in the community sector in the administrative areas covered by Lancashire County Council and Blackpool Council. These may include:
To improve and strengthen the position of the community sector in relation to waste reduction, reuse and recycling activities. The project is designed to address the barriers to the community sector playing a more active role in the provision of waste management services in Lancashire.
Support up to a maximum of £3000 may be offered under the Community Solutions Project in the form of:
