Brighter Future Workshop – Best Community Enterprise 2009
Lancashire Community Recycling Network is about much more than recycling – it’s about waste reduction, reuse, recycling and composting and the many positive social and environmental of benefits these activities. The community waste sector sees waste as a resource, and that's why the awards were renamed from the Red Rose Recycling Awards to the Red Rose Resource Awards in 2010.
In 2011, our awards event was held on 8th September in the conference room of the Environmental Education Centre in Leyland. Network members and sponsors joined together for a celebratory networking breakfast and awards presentation opened by County Cllr Mike Otter.
The awards event itself was funded by Lancashire County and Blackpool Councils. Runners up prizes for the four awards were sponsored by Lancashire CRN. Big thanks to all of our supporters and funders for making this event another huge success!
Press releases on each award winner will up available to download from this website soon.
