About Lancashire Community Recycling Network

Lancashire CRN is an unincorporated organisation with membership open to all involved in community waste reduction, re-use and recycling activities.

Lancashire CRN was established in 2003 and as a members’ organisation, fees were charged for individuals and organisations to join the Network. For the past two years, fees have been waived to increase the Network’s membership base and allow all members to experience the benefits of membership at no cost.

Since April, nominal membership fees have been reintroduced, according to the number of paid staff per organisation; however membership will remain free of charge if an organisation is staffed entirely by volunteers. In acknowledgement of the financial difficulties of many in the community sector, a 50% discount is being offered on all fees for the 2010-11 membership term.
