Introducing Lancashire Community Recycling Network

Lancashire Community Recycling Network (Lancashire CRN) was formed in 2002, to work with the community sector to increase their capacity through the Community Solutions Project.

The Lancashire Community Recycling Network:

• Support and promotes community based sustainable waste management initiatives in Lancashire.
• Improve and strengthen the position of the community sector in relation to waste reduction, re-use, recycling and local market development to deliver environmental,social and economic benefits into Lancashire.
• Are a not-for-profit, member organisation providing information, networking, recognition and communication opportunities and promoting project funding and support to all members.
• Are funded through the waste Private Finance Initiative (PFI) contract delivered by Global Renewables on behalf of Lancashire County Council and Blackpool Council
